Factory Manager

About the role

PT Elle Cosmetics Indonesia is seeking an experienced Factory Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Karawang, West Java. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of our premium cosmetic products, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and compliance.

What youll be doing

1. Develop and implement comprehensive production plans to meet sales forecasts and customer demand

2. Manage and optimise the manufacturing workflow, including scheduling, resource allocation and inventory control

3. Monitor and continuously improve production processes to enhance efficiency, productivity and product quality

4. Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve operational issues

6. Provide leadership and mentorship to the production team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

7. Report on key performance indicators and provide recommendations to senior management

What were looking for

1. Minimum 5 years experience in a similar Factory Manager or Production Manager role within the manufacturing industry

2. Proven track record in leading high-performing production teams and driving operational excellence

3. Excellent knowledge of production planning, scheduling and inventory management principles

4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically

5. Proficient in using data analysis tools to optimise production processes and identify areas for improvement

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions

7. Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
