About the role

We are seeking a Finance Accounting Tax Staff to join our dynamic team at PT. BUANA MARITIM SEJAHTERA in North Jakarta, Jakarta. This contract role will be responsible for a range of accounting and tax-related duties, playing a vital part in supporting the companys overall financial operations and compliance.

What youll be doing

  • Preparing and processing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries

  • Reconciling bank statements and performing month-end close activities

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis

  • Ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations and filing tax returns accurately and on time

  • Supporting the implementation of internal controls and accounting policies

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and insights

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation

What were looking for

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar Finance Accounting Tax role, preferably in the maritime or transportation industry

  • Proficiency in Indonesian and English, both written and verbal

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

  • Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools

  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
