Client: a logistics technology platform built for e-commerce merchants to manage fulfilment, shipping, and cross-border logistics in one place. We connect merchants with warehouses, carriers, and operational tools to simplify complex logistics, improve visibility, reduce manual work, and support global growth.

About the Role

We are looking for a strong Tech Lead to help build core products across order management, warehouse operations, shipping management, partner integrations, and internal tools. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup, thinks like a product owner, and is excited to solve real operational problems with practical software. You will work closely with product, design, operations, and leadership to turn business needs into scalable, reliable product features.

This is not a narrow coding role. We are looking for someone who can contribute across frontend, backend, architecture, system quality, cloud deployment, and technical decision-making, while helping the team raise its engineering standards.

What You’ll Do

Build and maintain web applications across both frontend and backend
Develop core product features for OMS, WMS, shipping workflows, merchant dashboards, partner portals, and internal operational tools
Design and implement APIs, backend services, and database structures to support complex and scalable business logic
Lead the design and optimisation of cross-border logistics SaaS services on cloud infrastructure, ensuring high scalability, stability, and availability
Work on integrations with e-commerce platforms, 3PLs, couriers, payment tools, AI services, and external partners
Participate deeply in product requirement analysis, technical solution design, and architecture discussions
Write and own key modules and complex business logic with high engineering quality
Improve system performance, concurrency handling, reliability, security, and observability
Drive engineering best practices in code structure, testing, deployment, and maintainability
Build and improve quality assurance processes, including unit testing, API testing, automation testing, and static code analysis
Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve product stability and developer efficiency
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA, operations, and leadership across Hong Kong and other regions
Translate complex logistics and fulfilment workflows into clear, usable, and scalable product systems
Contribute to AI-related product capabilities such as workflow automation, operational intelligence, risk detection, and logistics assistance
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, support code reviews, and help improve overall team capability

What We’re Looking For

Must-have

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of software development experience, with solid full stack product delivery experience in production environments
Strong experience in modern frontend development, such as React, Berikut..js, or similar frameworks
Strong experience in backend development with Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or equivalent technologies
Solid understanding of API design, system integration, and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
Strong understanding of scalable web architecture, distributed systems, and performance optimisation
Hands-on experience with AWS or comparable cloud infrastructure
Familiarity with Docker, containerised deployment, and modern service-oriented or microservice architecture
Experience building, shipping, and maintaining real products with real users and business complexity
Strong system design and problem-solving ability, with the ability to work through complex technical challenges independently
Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-structured code and make sound engineering trade-offs
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across product, business, and technical teams
