General Manager (Graphic Art Business Printing)

About the role

Asaba Group is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our Graphic Art Business Printing division, focusing on the distribution and growth of digital and offset printing machines. This strategic leadership role requires a deep understanding of the printing industry, strong commercial acumen, and proven capability in driving business performance and managing high-performing teams.

What were looking for

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in the printing industry, particularly in digital, offset, or large-format printing machinery, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.

2. Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in Graphic Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.

3. Strong technical and commercial knowledge of printing equipment, production workflows, and graphic arts industry needs.

4. Proven experience in managing partnerships with international principals and brands.

5. Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

6. Fluent in English (spoken and written).

7. Willing to travel for domestic and international business purposes.

8. Placement in Juanda, Jakarta Pusat (Asaba Group).

What youll be doing

1. Develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue growth, profitability and market share for the Graphic Art Business Printing division

2. Manage all aspects of the divisions operations, including production, sales, marketing, and financial performance

3. Oversee a team of skilled professionals, providing strong leadership, coaching and mentoring to ensure optimal performance

4. Build and maintain key customer relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction

5. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape, and adapt the business strategy accordingly

6. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to identify and capitalise on synergies

7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures
