Geekhunter is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established company specializing in visa services, assisting individuals and families in navigating international travel requirements with ease and confidence.

Job Responsibilities 

• Design and implement community strategies aligned with product and brand goals across global markets
• Grow and manage vibrant communities on platforms such as Discord, X (formerly Twitter), Telegram, Reddit, and region-specific channels
• Lead community engagement initiatives including virtual events, live sessions, challenges, and ambassador programs
• Create and execute content strategies tailored to diverse cultures and platforms, especially for Discord and X
• Foster strong relationships with community members, ensuring all interactions reflect empathy, inclusivity, and brand consistency
• Monitor discussions, respond to feedback, and provide timely support across platforms and time zones
• Gather community insights and work with product, marketing, and support teams to improve user experience and retention
• Collaborate with localization, content, and design teams to ensure regionally appropriate communication and visuals
• Stay updated on platform trends, user behaviors, and best practices across international markets

Job Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as a Community Manager or in a similar role, ideally in tech, SaaS, or startup environments
• Experience managing international communities across platforms like Discord, Telegram, and X (Twitter)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages are a strong plus)
• Comfortable explaining technical or AI-related concepts in simple, culturally aware language
• Deep empathy and cross-cultural communication skills; experienced in resolving user issues with sensitivity and professionalism
• Proven ability to build and moderate large, diverse online communities with a nuanced understanding of local dynamics
• Familiarity with community tools like Discord bots, Notion, Typeform, and analytics dashboards
• Highly self-motivated, resourceful, and able to thrive in a remote, global, cross-functional environment
