HR Generalist

Responsible in execution of general HR Functions to ensure all the process in HR Department align with companys policies and / or local legislation and act as the first line in bridging the employees and the company.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.

  • Manage and resolve employee complaints, grievances, and disputes in a timely and effective manner.

  • Promote a positive work culture by supporting employee engagement initiatives.

  • Monitor employee satisfaction through surveys and feedback mechanisms.

  • Administer and monitor expatriate permit applications and their validity periods.

  • Handle disciplinary processes and support performance management systems in line with IR practices.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting industrial relations.

  • Prepare documentation for labor audits and ensure readiness for inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma in any major

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role

  • Familiar with SAP/HRIS and proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • English spoken as daily communication, and ability to speak Mandarin is a plus

  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures

  • Strong knowledge of labor law and employment equity regulations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong record-keeping abilities

  • Solid knowledge of HR functions and best practices

  • HR certification is an advantage
