Human Resource Manager

To lead and manage all HR functions for the church and its social enterprise initiatives, ensuring that our people, culture, and processes reflect our faith-based values and support our vision for impactful service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals and values

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and staff development to build a healthy, committed workforce.

  • Oversee performance management, appraisals, and staff relations with grace, fairness, and professionalism.

  • Provide advice and support to pastors, leaders, and department heads on HR matters.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, contracts, and church policies.

  • Champion a positive work culture rooted in care, respect, and excellence.

  • Handle HR administration including payroll, benefits, and employee records.

  • Support conflict resolution and employee well-being initiatives.

Requirements

  • Active member of a local church.

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in non-profit, faith-based, or social enterprise contexts.

  • Strong understanding of Indonesian labor law and HR best practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and alignment with organization values.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work with diverse teams and balance multiple priorities.
