Chery Indonesia is the local subsidiary of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese automotive Perusahaan specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of passenger vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end export & import customs clearance activities, including the preparation, verification, and submission of customs declarations (PIB, PEB) and all supporting documentation.
  • Monitor shipment progress, identify potential customs or regulatory risks, and proactively resolve clearance issues to minimize delays, demurrage, and detention costs.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, customs authorities, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant logistics operations.
  • Oversee HS Code classification, customs valuation, duty and tax calculations, and ensure accuracy and consistency across declarations, permits, and shipment documentation.
  • Support import licensing and compliance administration, maintain accurate customs records, and prepare periodic reports on shipment status, customs performance, regulatory compliance, and duty & tax exposure.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Customs, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related discipline, with PPJK/SAK certification or formal customs training considered strong advantages.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in export & import operations and customs clearance within PPJK, manufacturing, or automotive industries.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and procedures, including PIB, PEB, MITA, bonded facilities, PLB schemes, Incoterms, and customs compliance requirements.
  • Proficient in export & import documentation processes, HS Code classification, CEISA, and operational handling of FCL and LCL shipments; knowledge of bonded zone operations is preferred.
  • Fluent in Indonesian and English; Mandarin is a strong advantage.
