About the role

Canggu Community School (Badung) is seeking an experienced and passionate Inclusion Teacher Secondary to join our vibrant international school community in Bali. This full-time position will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of our diverse student body. As an Inclusion Teacher, you will work closely with classroom teachers to ensure all students, including those with additional learning needs, are provided with the necessary support and resources to thrive academically and socially.

What youll be doing

1. Collaborate with classroom teachers to design and deliver tailored lessons and interventions that cater to the unique learning needs of individual students

2. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their individual learning goals

3. Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

4. Maintain detailed records of student progress and regularly communicate with parents and other stakeholders

5. Contribute to the development and review of the schools inclusion policies and procedures

6. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices in inclusive education

What were looking for

1. A bachelors degree in Education or a related field, with a specialisation in Special Education or Inclusive Education

2. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Inclusion Teacher or Special Education Teacher in a secondary school setting

3. Strong knowledge of evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions for students with diverse learning needs

4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals

5. A deep understanding of relevant educational policies, regulations, and best practices in inclusive education

6. Passion for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
