Japanese Tutor (Project Based)

The primary goal of this project is:

• Business: To acquire basic and essential business Japanese communication skills for professional interactions, including presentations, email correspondence, and understanding industry-specific terminology in E-commerce.

• Design a customized curriculum and lesson plan tailored directly to the projects objectives.

• Conduct engaging, one-on-one (or small group) tutoring sessions in Jakarta, at a mutually agreed-upon location (e.g., clients office, quiet café, co-working space).

• Focus on practical application, including speaking practice, role-playing scenarios, and real-world task completion.

• Provide all necessary learning materials, which may include textbooks, worksheets, audio/video clips, and articles relevant to the project theme.

• Assign and review homework and practical assignments to reinforce learning outside of sessions.

• Regularly assess progress against the project goals and adjust the teaching method as needed.

• Introduce relevant cultural context to enhance understanding and communication effectiveness.

• Native or N1-Level (JLPT) proficiency in Japanese. (Preferralble)

• Must be currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia, and able to commute for in-person sessions.

• Proven experience as a Japanese language tutor or teacher, with a strong track record of helping students achieve their goals.

• Exceptional ability to explain complex grammatical structures in a clear and understandable way.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with patience and cultural sensitivity.

• Professional demeanor and reliability.

• Formal education in Language Teaching, Education, Japanese Studies, or a related field.

• Experience in creating project-based or goal-oriented learning programs.

• Background or knowledge relevant to the projects focus area (e.g., business, technology, exam preparation).

• Familiarity with digital teaching tools and resources.

• Schedule: Flexible, based on mutual availability. Expected commitment of [ 3 sessions per week, 1 hour per session].

• Duration: The project is expected to run for approximately [3 months] or might extend.
