Job Summary

The Compliance Assistant Manager ensures the organization operates in adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal governance standards by managing compliance programs, policies, and processes. This role develops and monitors compliance frameworks, provides training and awareness, manages whistleblower and ethics programs, and ensures data protection governance. By identifying risks, implementing corrective actions, and fostering a compliance culture, the role contributes to safeguarding the Perusahaan’s reputation, minimizing legal and regulatory risks, and supporting sustainable business operations.

Job Description

Managing Compliance

  1. Oversee regulatory compliance by systematically tracking regulatory updates, assessing requirements, and providing support in compliance perspectives to internal stakeholders to maintain organizational alignment with legal obligations and corporate compliance standards.

Policy & Procedure Management

  1. Develop and update compliance policies by identifying required policies, drafting/revising policies, and securing legal and management approvals to maintain an accurate and up-to-date compliance framework.
  2. Control and document internal policies by standardizing formats and maintaining central records to ensure alignment with Perusahaan governance standards and audit readiness.
  3. Oversee and enforce policy awareness and training programs by publishing on internal platforms, conducting sessions through Q&A forums, and delivering role-specific modules to embed compliance culture across the organization.
  4. Oversee the compliance training effectiveness by tracking attendance and monitoring understanding to continuously improve training impact and regulatory adherence.
  5. Provide support on policy development requests from other departments by reviewing drafts, offering templates, and recommending improvements to avoid overlaps or regulatory gaps.

Ethics & Anti-Corruption Program

  1. Develop whistleblower systems by establishing anonymous reporting channels, defining protection protocols, and promoting usage to foster a transparent and ethical work environment.
  2. Oversee and guide investigations of reported cases by gathering feedback and evidence, conducting interviews, and preparing comprehensive findings and recommendations to ensure each case is resolved with fairness, confidentiality, and compliance with regulations.
  3. Plan and deliver ethics and anti-corruption training by developing learning materials, delivering annual sessions, and facilitating onboarding and refreshers to instill ethical conduct and prevent misconduct across the organization.

Personal Data Protection Management

  1. Develop and enforce personal data protection management by establishing data protection governance and policies, implementing privacy controls, and coordinating data breaches responses to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance.
  2. Delegate and optimize personal data protection awareness programs by delivering targeted training, structured communication, and socialization initiatives to strengthen employee understanding and embed a culture of data responsibility across the organization.

Corporate Governance Policy and Compliance

  1. Support the corporate governance practice by developing conflict of interest disclosure forms, collecting disclosures from each BOD member, and maintaining accurate registers of related party transactions to promote transparency and safeguard the organization from potential risks of bias or misconduct.
  2. Oversee compliance with governance best practices by conducting periodic gap assessments, monitoring implementation, and engaging with external governance bodies to strengthen organizational accountability and enhance stakeholder trust.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in compliance, governance, or legal functions within regulated industries (preferable food & beverage, FMCG, or manufacturing)
  • Knowledge of ethics, anti-corruption, data protection regulations, policy drafting and compliance monitoring, and investigation
  • Familiarity with whistleblower systems and personal data protection
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
  • Availability to liaise with regulators and attend compliance-related forums.
