Key Responsibilities

• Lead Greenfield Discovery: Facilitate workshops (e.g., User Story Mapping, Process Mapping) with senior business executives and stakeholders to extract, clarify, and challenge requirements for a brand-new application ecosystem.
• Define the MVP Scope: Act as the bridge between business ambitions and technical realities. Help prioritize features to establish a lean, high-performing Phase 1 MVP while mapping out the long-term product roadmap.
• Author Development-Ready BRDs: Write exceptionally clear, precise, and traceable Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and data dictionaries.
• Map Complex Insurance Logic: Document intricate business rules covering rating engines, coverage limits, deductibles, endorsement lifecycles, and automated claims workflows.
• Architect Integration Specs: Detail functional requirements for vital third-party endpoints, including address validation, payment gateways, risk assessment databases, and downstream financial ledgers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Deep Insurance Domain Expertise: Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as a BA specifically within the insurance industry, with proven exposure to core modules (Policy Admin, Billing, Claims, or Rating).
• Line of Business (LOB) Familiarity: Direct experience working with Life and Health insurance products.
• Greenfield Project Experience: Proven track record of operating in ambiguous, \"blank-slate\" environments. You know how to build a requirement structure from the ground up rather than just modifying an existing legacy system.
• High Technical Literacy: Ability to think in terms of data structures, relational entities, and \"API-Pertama\" design. You must be comfortable collaborating directly with Solution Architects and Lead Developers.
• Visual Modeling Mastery: Advanced proficiency in creating clear, scannable context diagrams, swimlane workflows (BPMN), and data mapping matrices.
• Communication & Influence: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge the status quo to prevent scope creep. Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
