Live Streaming Technical Operator

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and technically skilled Live Streaming Operator to manage the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of live streaming for padel matches and tournaments. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless broadcast quality while managing technical equipment and live event workflows.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

• Camera Setup: Install and position GoPro cameras on designated padel courts, ensuring optimal coverage and angles.
• Cabling & Hardware Setup: Install all necessary cabling to connect cameras, the computer, Black Box Magic device, and other relevant hardware.
• Software Management: Operate and manage OBS Studio, including uploading scenes, sources, and configuring settings for the live streams.
• Streaming Coordination: Integrate OBS with YouTube to broadcast simultaneous live streams and manage start/stop commands during events.
• Live Operation: Control live scenes, sources, and transitions in OBS according to the events running order.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during live streams, including internet connectivity problems, hardware/software malfunctions, and OBS errors.
• Scoreboard Control: Manage live score updates via Padelvas backend scoreboard panel.
• Event Management: Set up and dismantle all equipment at each event as scheduled.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with Padelvas team regarding event status and technical requirements.
• Post-event Reporting: Complete reports after each event, highlighting successes, issues, and suggestions for improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Experience with live video streaming, preferably in sports or event live production.
• Strong knowledge of OBS Studio, including scene and source management.
• Familiarity with YouTube Live streaming, including multicasting streams.
• Basic understanding of cabling, camera setup, and live broadcasting hardware.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during live events.
• Good communication skills and reliability during scheduled event times.
• Fluency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia is mandatory for effective communication with the team and stakeholders
• The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of padel or tennis (not a must, can be trained)

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Work Hours & Schedule

The job hours will depend on the tournament schedule, but most work will be carried out on weekends. Expected long hours from Thursday to Sunday. Some preparatory work during weekdays will be required to set up for upcoming tournaments.

Travel Requirements

The candidate will be required to travel within Jakarta and other Indonesian cities as needed for tournament setups and operations.
