Mandarin Translator

About the role

We are seeking a talented Mandarin Translator to join our team at PT Ace Medical Products Indonesia in Batang Regency, Central Java. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication between our company and our Chinese-speaking partners, clients and stakeholders.

What youll be doing

1. Written Translation

• Translate documents from Mandarin to Indonesian or vice versa, including business, legal, and technical documents.

• Adapt language style to suit the intended context and audience.

• Collect and keep all translation data and companys translated documents

2. Oral Interpretation

• Act as an interpreter in meetings, business negotiations, conferences, or discussions between Mandarin and Indonesian speakers.

• Ensure smooth communication without misunderstandings due to language differences.

3. Business Communication

• Assist communication between companies and clients or business partners from China or Mandarin-speaking countries.

• Work together with team from the department for every days translating related work

• Prepare reports, emails, and other correspondence in Mandarin and Indonesian.

• Explain local culture and customs to facilitate better communication.

4. Editing, Proofreading and Filing

• Edit and review translated content for accuracy and contextual relevance.

• Ensure the quality of the translation of the Companys documents

• Stay up-to-date with industry terminology, regulatory changes and cultural nuances to enhance the quality of your work

• Perform document filling

5. Any other duties that may be assigned by the superior

What were looking for

• Native or near-native fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven experience as a professional translator, with at least 3 years experience working in a similar role

• Strong research and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and nuanced translations

• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

• Familiarity with translation software and other relevant technologies

• Willing to be placed in KITB Batang, Central Java
