Role OverviewThe client is seeking a results-driven and strategic National Sales Manager to lead our sales operations across Indonesia. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in FMCG, particularly in the food category. The ideal candidate will possess proven expertise in managing key accounts, distributor networks, and modern trade channels, as well as demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and optimizing sales operations nationwide.
Key Responsibilities-
Sales Leadership & Strategy
Lead national sales strategies across general trade, modern trade, and National Key Accounts (NKA) to drive brand visibility and revenue growth.
Develop and expand distributor and retail networks to boost product availability across Indonesia.
Negotiate product listings, visibility programs, and trade terms with major retail chains, distributors, and NKA partners.

Performance & Budget Management
Prepare and manage sales budgets, ensuring efficient spend and strong ROI.
Track and analyze sales performance by channel, account, and region; apply data-driven solutions to meet targets.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and coach a high-performing sales team, including supervisors, to align with company goals.
Work closely with marketing, PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control), and finance teams for smooth trade promo execution, accurate forecasting, and operational efficiency.

Stakeholder Management & Compliance
Build strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and internal teams to support sustainable business growth.
Ensure compliance with trade terms and manage accounts receivable according to company policy.

Market Intelligence
Provide insights on market trends and competitor activity to support agile decision-making.
At least Bachelors Degree in related majors.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales, with specialization in e-commerce and marketplace operations, with 3 years experience as National Sales Manager or equivalent, within the FMCG - Food category.
Fluent in English.
Proven ability in key account management and distributor relationship-building within Indonesias retail landscape.
Strong analytical acumen in sales reporting, cost analysis, and trade term management.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
High mobility and readiness to travel extensively across the country.
