Network Engineer - Radio Tuning & Optimization

Technical and Functional Skills:

• Skilled in addressing multiple markets, performing analytical, investigative, and design activities related to 2G, LTE, VoLTE, and 5G Post Launch Optimization.

• Relevant experience in 2G, 3G, LTE, VoLTE, and 5G RF Post Launch Optimization.

• Extensive knowledge of Ericsson radio parameters, counters, timers, and root cause analysis for 2G, LTE, and 5G.

• Experienced in managing network trials and analyzing performance data to identify coverage, capacity, and interference issues.

• Proficient in network performance monitoring, including parameter consistency checks and hygiene checks.

• Strong understanding of multi-carrier/multi-access technology layer management strategies and inter-RAT mobility management of service bearers.

• Competent in performance reporting and post-processing tools.

• Skilled in identifying and analyzing key network issues to achieve QoS targets for 2G/3G/LTE/5G.

Human Competence:

• Proven track record as a Network Engineer in Radio Tuning and Optimization (technology and/or operations).

Education Background and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, MIS, or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in tuning and optimizing high-capacity wireless GSM, LTE, or UMTS networks using RF engineering technology.
