Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Network Security Engineer to join our team at PT. LOTTE INNOVATE INDONESIA, a leading technology company in East Jakarta, Jakarta. As a Network Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure to protect our systems and data. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work in our modern office location.

What youll be doing

1. Design and implement secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control measures

2. Monitor and analyse network traffic to detect and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions

4. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation

5. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address potential risks

6. Implement and maintain network security tools and technologies, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems and security information and event management (SIEM) solutions

7. Provide technical support and training to users on security best practices

What were looking for

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

2. 8+ years of experience in network security engineering, with a strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and other security technologies

3. Expertise in implementing and managing network security solutions, such as Cisco, Palo Alto, or Fortinet

4. Proficiency in network monitoring, analysis, and incident response

5. Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI DSS)

6. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills

7. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

8. Experience in network security engineering L2 more prefered
