Learners are challenged to develop multiple app prototypes based on real-life problems, under professional mentorship. The academies in Indonesia have welcomed students from a variety of backgrounds. To date, academies have included students from over 93 cities across Indonesia, ranging between 18 and 58 years old, each of whom brings new ideas and life experiences to their local communities.

We are seeking a learner experience-focused Pedagogy Program Manager to join the Apple Developer Academy team, focusing on programs in Indonesia. This role is responsible for the management of the Academies, the Foundations, the institute programs, and the alumni programs. Over a thousand learners are expected to be trained in these programs every year.

You will work with Apples pedagogy, operation, and IT teams, as well as local partners, to achieve the vision of "inspiring world class developers". Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it!

Description

• Manage the Academy ecosystem project plan-ensuring timely execution and quality of the teaching and learning experience.

Track and report on progress of each initiative.

• Provide pedagogical advice and improve classroom practices of educators involved in the program.
• Collect, track and monitor evidences of learning, pedagogical data, student stories and program impressions for both internal sharing and external audits.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the curriculum and classroom practices across Indonesian programs and globally.
• Be the regional instructional quality lead-in particular coding, design, and/or professional skills.

Identify learning needs on all aspects of software development cycle; enroll and liaise with Apple or external experts to address such learning needs.

• Assist the Apple Pedagogy Team in managing the relationships with school partners, industry partners, and scout other local partners that can add value to the programs.
• Manage relationship with Apple internal teams such as Developer Relations, Public Relations, Product Marketing, Education, Government Affairs or other departments that can add value to the program.
• Be attuned to local voices and advise the Apple pedagogy team of cultural sensitivities and future strategies.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of project/program management experience with learning-related programs.
• Have subject matter expertise in a core domain subject - coding, design, or professional skill either through industry practice and/or teaching
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
• Availability to travel extensively across Indonesia and internationally.
• Highly organised and ability to meet deadlines, particular for event management.
• High quality execution, self-starter mentality who can work individually without direct supervision, and is comfortable with remote management

Preferred Qualifications

• A strong understanding and network of the developer landscape in Indonesia and South East Asia, from independent developers to organisation leaders.
• Proficiency in one or several of Apple app development topics: Coding, Design, App Business, or Professional Skills, is preferred.
• Ability to analyse data, documentation, and communicate key findings to different stakeholders.
• Ability to foster trust with both internal and external teams.
• Influencing skills to lead partners and contractors to deliver at the same level of excellence.
