About the role

Elyu Chemical Indonesia is seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Field Manager to join our team in Gresik District, East Java. As a Truck Field Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the efficient and safe operation of our fleet of trucks, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high service standards. This full-time position is based in Gresik, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing logistics operations.

What youll be doing

  • Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the truck drivers to ensure on-time and efficient deliveries
  • Monitoring truck maintenance and facilitating repairs to keep the fleet in optimal condition
  • Liaising with customers and providing excellent customer service to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to transportation and logistics
  • Analysing operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
  • Providing training and guidance to truck drivers to enhance their skills and safety awareness
  • Collaborating with the broader logistics team to optimise workflows and streamline operations

    • What were looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the road transport industry
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, logistics operations, and fleet management best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with truck drivers, customers, and cross-functional teams
  • Problem-solving abilities and a solutions-oriented mindset to address operational challenges
  • Proficiency in using transportation management systems and data analysis tools
  • A valid drivers licence and the ability to navigate the local roads and infrastructure
