PIC COORDINATOR (AHTS/OFFSHORE)

Qualification :

1. Min D4/S1 Bachelor of Maritime Studies, Ship/Vessel management/ Port management

2. 2-3 years of experience in shipping company

3. Experienced in handling offshore vessels is prefered

4. Good leadership, strong communication skill

5. Proficient in English

6. Understand about Ships procedure

Job description :

1. Monitor the daily movement and activities of vessels, and coordinate with all related departments.

2. Maintain effective communication with clients / charterers or other related parties by providing prompt and responsive feedback.

3. Monitor the progress of vessel movement permits, payments with agents / harbor masters / relevant authorities to ensure smooth vessel operations.

4. Review requests from vessels in detail, including specifications, quantity, and quality; confirm any additional required data with the vessel; process approvals for procurement or required activities; monitor purchase requisitions (PR) through to procurement or activity completion.

5. Ensure all findings (from internal teams, clients, or third-party inspectors) are resolved as quickly as possible within the given timeframe, and develop a timeline for closing findings.

6. Prepare repair lists and supervise repair activities and the docking process of vessels.

7. Establish good communication with vessel crew to ensure smooth field operations.

8. Develop, implement, and analyze the Planned Maintenance System (PMS) on a weekly basis. (highlighted)

9. Assist VDC in handling vessel certification matters as instructed by the direct supervisor. (highlighted)

10. Coordinate with relevant departments to establish fuel and freshwater usage standards for each vessel according to the type of vessel and operation; monitor, review, and analyze fuel and freshwater usage to ensure it aligns with established standards.
