Responsibilities:

Were seeking a highly driven and technically proficient Presales Engineer with deep expertise in Backup & Recovery Solutions. Youll play a pivotal role in shaping data protection strategies for enterprise clients—bridging business needs with robust technical execution. This is a customer-facing role that blends solution design, technical evangelism, and strategic advisory.

Youll collaborate closely with sales, product, and delivery teams to craft resilient backup architectures using industry-leading platforms such as Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, and others.

Job Description:

• Lead technical discovery sessions to assess client requirements and pain points

• Design and deliver product demos, Proof of Concept (PoC), and solution walkthroughs

• Develop technical proposals, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans

• Ensure solutions align with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.)

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle and beyond

• Conduct enablement sessions for internal teams and client stakeholders

• Stay current with emerging trends in backup, DRaaS, cloud storage, and ransomware protection

Requirement:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in data backup, storage, cloud, or related fields

• Strong knowledge of backup and data recovery technologies (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veritas NetBackup)

• Understanding of RTO/RPO, deduplication, replication, and business continuity and disaster recovery planning

• Experience with server infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM) and storage systems (SAN, NAS, DAS, object storage) is a plus

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for backup and archiving is a plus

• Strong initiative, communication, and presentation skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with sales & product team to deliver customer-focused solutions
