Procurement Assistant Manager (Mandarin Speaking)

Job Description :

  • Identify and select reliable suppliers for raw materials, packaging, transporter , commercial things and indirect goods through thorough market research, supplier evaluations, and alignment with company standards.

  • Make planning for developing and implementing procurement strategies.

  • Maintain Service Level as a KPI to ensure procurement meets operational needs.

  • Manage an efficient flow of goods to ensure optimum production

  • Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications

  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with related function to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.

  • Control budget spend and create long-term saving on procurement costs.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree or Postgraduate Degree preferred in any field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the FMCG industry

  • Fluent in Mandarin (both spoken and written) is required to effectively communicate with suppliers and partners in China or other Mandarin-speaking regions

  • Proven experience in a managerial or assistant managerial role in Procurement/Purchasing or a related function.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective procurement strategies.

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; able to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to collaborate across departments and work effectively in cross-functional teams.

  • High level of integrity, cost-consciousness, and results-oriented mindset.
