Job Description:
Lead and oversee the end-to-end product development process, from market research and ideation to launch.
Guide the team in creating new product concepts aligned with market needs and brand strategy.
Review and approve product descriptions, claims, and key marketing points.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners (suppliers, vendors, R&D) to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards.
Evaluate product testing results, including user feedback on skin condition, performance, texture, and packaging.
Drive product innovation by developing unique formulas, packaging, and product positioning.
Monitor global and local beauty industry trends, including ingredients, technology, and consumer preferences.
Provide progress reports to management and propose new product strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Product Development within the beauty industry, with proven experience in leading projects or teams.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Strong knowledge of beauty trends, both local and international (products, ingredients, consumer insights).
Extensive knowledge of skincare/makeup ingredients or strong passion for the beauty industry.
Skilled in market research and trend analysis to support strategic decisions.
Strong project management skills, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
Digital design skills are an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to deliver innovative product ideas and successfully launch them into the market.
