Project Management Officer - Banking Industry

Educational Background

* Bachelors degree from reputable university

Project Management Experience & Skills:

* Experience in IT project management, with at least 3+ years in PMO role

* Strong background in infrastructure projects

* The ability to manage infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and closure. This involves creating and modifying project plans, defining objectives, success criteria, scope, and managing resources, finances, risks, and communication

* Experience in:

o Project scoping, planning, budgeting, and scheduling

o Stakeholder engagement

o Risk and issue management

o Vendor and contract management

* Proven experience managing project: System Infrastructure Migration, System Infrastructure Integration, Network and Security Infrastructure, End-user computing & collaboration platforms

* Experience in:

o Setting up and running a PMO (standards, templates, tools)

o Portfolio governance and prioritization

o Performance tracking and reporting

o Resource planning and capacity management

o Project audits and compliance

* Ability to standardize project delivery across teams or departments.

* Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders, including vendors and suppliers, to ensure project deliverables are met as per project plan

* Ability to support PMs lead and technical team with status consolidation, escalations, and risk reporting.

* Ability working closely with the project team to ensure all project phases are completed successfully

* Capability to identify and communicate to resolve project-related issues, to ensure projects are delivered within schedule

* Experience in creating and maintaining project documentation, including project plans, deliverables checklists, and final project reports. This ensures that all project activities are documented and reported accurately

* Excellent verbal, written, and executive presentation skills.

Technical Knowledge

* Good understanding of IT infrastructure components, including:

o Networking (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN)

o Operating System

o Servers & storage

o Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

o Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix)

o Backup & disaster recovery

o Cybersecurity fundamentals
