QA Tester

Optimus Consulting is assisting one of our clients, a reputable state-owned bank (BUMN), looking for a QA Tester. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, implementing automation tools, and ensuring software quality across large-scale banking systems. Youll work closely with developers, analysts, and DevOps teams to detect bugs, optimize performance, and ensure systems run smoothly and securely.

Wed be especially excited about meeting you if you are:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in programming, business analysis, or IT analysis

• General knowledge of the banking industry

• Experience in software testing and proficiency in at least one automation tool used in application testing

• Proficient in programming languages such as PHP, .NET (ASP/C++/C#), and Golang

• Experienced in working with SQL RDBMS such as MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL, and capable of querying databases used by applications

• Understanding of QA best practices, with the ability to present findings clearly and explain results logically and rationally

• Excellent communication skills, open-minded, and has a strong service orientation

• Familiar with technologies such as Linux Server, Windows Server, VMware, and WebMethods products (Integration Server, Terracotta, WebMethods Microservices Runtime), as well as virtual cloud platforms (IaaS or PaaS)

• Familiar with Atlassian products and CI/CD tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo), automation tools (Katalon), and performance testing tools (JMeter)

• Able to work within an Agile Framework or Scrum/DevOps environment
