Quantity Surveyor (Audio Visual)

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Calculate the material needs and estimated costs for project components based on shop drawings.

• Verify actual material requirements at project sites to prevent over-ordering or shortages.

• Monitor and control material costs, ensuring alignment with the approved project budget.

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering of necessary materials and accessories.

• Ensure excess or unused materials are returned to the warehouse to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Identify and recommend alternative materials that provide improved quality or cost benefits without compromising technical standards.

• Check and validate supporting documents and receipts for material purchases submitted by site technicians or project teams.

COMPULSORY QUALIFICATION :

• Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, material cost control, or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of material estimating, cost control, and construction project workflows.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other project management or cost estimation tools.

• Familiarity with interpreting shop drawings and technical documentation.

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and on-site environment.
