Research Manager
Key of Responsibilities:
Lead and conduct comprehensive market research and feasibility studies, including highest and best use (HBU) analyses and indicative property valuations
Provide market and financial analysis, providing strategic recommendations based on findings
Prepare and present proposals, pitch decks, and contracts for research and consultancy assignments
Collaborate with internal teams and support business development by identifying and engaging with prospective clients/new clients
Supervise, coach, and provide guidance to junior research and consultancy team members to ensure high-quality project delivery
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of research reports and consultancy deliverables
Maintain and update property database, developing knowledge of property market trends, development regulations, and valuation principles
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Economics, or other related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in property research, consultancy, or valuation
Experienced in project pitching, back-to-back meeting with clients, translating enquiries into proposal, following up to negotiation then rendering to appointment
Experienced in working with complex databases and conducting structured data analysis
Strong in research, analytical, strategic thinking, and report-writing skills
High passion and interest in data and property markets across various sectors
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High attention to detail, self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working in a team
Knowledge of financial modelling and property feasibility analysis tools is a plus
