Research Manager

Key of Responsibilities:

• Lead and conduct comprehensive market research and feasibility studies, including highest and best use (HBU) analyses and indicative property valuations

• Provide market and financial analysis, providing strategic recommendations based on findings

• Prepare and present proposals, pitch decks, and contracts for research and consultancy assignments

• Collaborate with internal teams and support business development by identifying and engaging with prospective clients/new clients

• Supervise, coach, and provide guidance to junior research and consultancy team members to ensure high-quality project delivery

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of research reports and consultancy deliverables

• Maintain and update property database, developing knowledge of property market trends, development regulations, and valuation principles

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Urban Planning, Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Economics, or other related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in property research, consultancy, or valuation

• Experienced in project pitching, back-to-back meeting with clients, translating enquiries into proposal, following up to negotiation then rendering to appointment

• Experienced in working with complex databases and conducting structured data analysis

• Strong in research, analytical, strategic thinking, and report-writing skills

• High passion and interest in data and property markets across various sectors

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High attention to detail, self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working in a team

• Knowledge of financial modelling and property feasibility analysis tools is a plus
