Sales Executive - Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are seeking a talented Sales Executive to join our PPJK, EMKL and Freight Forwarding team at PT. Karya Mitra Sarana Samudra, based in East Java. This full-time position will see you playing a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our freight forwarding business through effective sales and client relationship management.

What youll be doing

• Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your designated territory

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients to secure repeat business

• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on our comprehensive freight forwarding services

• Prepare detailed and compelling sales proposals to win new business

• Collaborate cross-functionally with our operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless service delivery

• Contribute to the development of our sales and marketing strategies

• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets

What were looking for

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the PPJK, EMKL and freight forwarding or logistics industry

• Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships

• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with freight forwarding processes and documentation

• Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia

• Degree in a relevant field such as logistics, transportation or business
