About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join PT Kurhanz Trans as a Sales Freight Forwarding. In this full-time position based in West Jakarta, Jakarta, you will be responsible for driving sales and growth for the companys import/export and customs services. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in expanding the companys customer base and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

What youll be doing

• Proactively identifying and developing new sales leads through networking, cold-calling, and relationship building

• Pitching the companys freight forwarding services to potential clients and securing new business

• Managing the full sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure

• Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business

• Collaborating with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of freight forwarding services

• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities to inform sales strategy

• Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets

What were looking for

• Proven track record in a sales or business development role within the logistics industry (freight forwarding)

• Strong understanding of import/export and customs processes and regulations

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients

• Proactive and self-motivated, with a drive to succeed and meet sales targets

• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Proficient in using sales and CRM tools to manage the sales pipeline effectively
