SAP FICO Specialist

Qualifications & experience

• Minimum Bachelors degree (S1) in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or equivalent with SAP FICO certification

• Having at least 4 years of demonstrably successful experience working with SAP FICO in a consulting or implementation role

• Having a minimum of 3 full cycles of involvement in SAP implementation and a background in an SAP consulting company

• Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of financial accounting principles, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting processes.

• Experience in S/4HANA is a must (latest release is an advantage).

• Experience in managing SAP projects and delivering them on time and within budget

Tasks & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement business process and functional support for the SAP FI and CO modules, including sub-ledgers like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Asset Accounting (AA).

• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the finance organization to understand business needs and translate them into actionable SAP FICO configurations.

• Perform system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Leverage your financial and technical expertise to configure and optimize core financial processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

• Generate comprehensive financial reports and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost-saving measures.

• Conduct user training sessions to ensure effective use of SAP FICO systems.

• Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.

• Provide ongoing maintenance and support to end-users on SAP FICO functionalities.
