We are seeking a passionate and experienced School Counselor for secondary school to address students academic and developmental needs.

Requirements:

1. Fluent in English.

2. Candidate must possess at least Bachelors Degree in Psychology/ Special Education (Guidance and Counseling), or any relevant background. Masters degree is a plus.

3. At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).

4. Knowledge of multiple counseling approaches.

5. Have strong communication, teaching and presentation skills, adaptive and a self-regulated learner.

6. Have patience, empathy, dedication and passionate working in an educational environment.

7. Ability to work with team.

Responsibilities including (but not limited to):

1. Initiating open communication between parents and teachers, especially for students that have some academic issue.

2. Providing mental health and behavioral counseling to students by listening to students concerns regarding their social, academic, or personal problems and to provide professional support and guidance on how to deal with the problems. 

3. Mediating and improving relationships between students, parents, and teachers.

4. Coordinating and facilitating groups for students, such as for improving social and academic skills or addressing behavioral challenges.

5. Recognizing and appropriately taking care of individual students socio-emotional challenges.

6. Implementing a competitive school counseling program that promotes students success.

7. Maintaining detailed and confidential records of students progress and outcomes.
