Job Purpose

The Senior Data Lead is responsible for leading the strategy, development, and utilization of data capabilities across the organization to enable accurate, data driven decision making. This role oversees Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts to ensure reliable data availability, advanced analytics and machine learning development, and delivery of actionable insights that support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Data Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and implement the Perusahaan’s data strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Establish data governance standards, including data quality, data security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify data needs and prioritize initiatives.

Data Engineering

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of data warehouse, data lake, and overall data infrastructure.
  • Ensure ETL/ELT pipelines are scalable, efficient, and reliable.
  • Oversee integration of data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Drive best practices in data architecture and engineering standards.

Data Analytics

  • Lead the development of dashboards, business reports, and analytical solutions to support decision-making.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities through data analysis.
  • Ensure availability of accurate KPIs and business metrics across functions.
  • Translate data insights into clear business recommendations for leadership teams.

Data Science

  • Guide the development of statistical models, machine learning, and predictive analytics solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for AI/ML applications such as forecasting, segmentation, recommendation systems, and optimization.
  • Ensure models are accurate, scalable, and deliver measurable business impact.
  • Oversee model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

People Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and Data Analysts.
  • Define team goals, priorities, and capability development plans.
  • Build a strong data-driven and collaborative team culture.
  • Manage resource alLokasi and capacity planning to support business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Data Engineering.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience leading a multi disciplinary data team.
  • Experience in building data ecosystems and data governance frameworks is a strong advantage.
