High Five is on behalf of a young startup who builds and deploys production-grade AI sales agents for businesses in Southeast Asia. These agents handle real customer conversations on WhatsApp and Instagram: answering questions, recommending products, creating bookings, processing payments, and following up automatically. They don't just answer FAQs. They execute full sales and service workflows, end-to-end, inside the chat.

About the Role

Mission: Execute our client SME sales motion and close 2-3 new SME clients every month. The playbook is already built; this role runs it well, hits the number reliably, and keeps deals moving from Pertama touch to launch. The strong performer grows into leading and scaling the SME BD function.

In one line: the operator who keeps their SME pipeline converting, month after month.

Responsibilities

  • The full SME sales cycle. Working leads, qualifying, demoing, negotiating, and closing within their existing motion.
  • The monthly target. 2-3 new SME clients closed per month after a short ramp.
  • The inbound and outbound mix. Convert leads from their marketing engine, and self-source outbound prospecting to keep the pipeline full.
  • Product demos. Run demos that land with non-technical SME owners and make them want to buy.
  • Pipeline hygiene. Keep the CRM clean and accurate. With this deal volume, nothing can fall through the cracks.
  • Clean handoff to onboarding. Coordinate with their client experience team so signed deals launch smoothly and pass their trial period.

Qualifications

Must-haves

  • Sales experience that fits the motion. You've run a sales cycle and closed deals before, in SaaS or tech sales, or selling directly to SME and business owners. Junior to mid-level is fine; what matters is that you've actually closed.
  • You demo well. You can run a product demo that a non-technical SME owner immediately understands and wants. The demo is central to this role.
  • You speak like a friend to SME owners. Warm, relatable, quick to build rapport. Indonesian SME owners buy from people they trust and like, not from a pitch.
  • Startup heart, not corporate. You're comfortable in a fast, high-volume motion. You're resilient, you move quickly, and you don't need everything handed to you.
  • High ownership. You execute the motion well now and genuinely want to grow into leading it.
  • High integrity. Honest. You sell what you can actually deliver. No overpromising to close.
  • Organized. You keep your pipeline and CRM clean. At this deal volume, discipline is what protects the number.
  • Clear communicator. You articulate yourself well, in writing and on a call.
  • Language. Fluent Indonesian required (SME clients are local Indonesian business owners). English is a plus but not essential.

Required Skills

  • Direct experience selling conversational AI, chatbot, CRM, or WhatsApp business tools.
  • Has sold to SME or business owners before in any category: POS, F&B tech, agencies, SME-focused fintech, marketplaces.
  • High-velocity or transactional sales background, comfortable with short cycles and many deals per month.
  • Early signs of leadership: mentoring teammates, owning a process, building something small.
