Store Development Manager

What youll be doing

Site Selection & Analysis

(1)Identify and evaluate potential store locations using market research, demographic data, and financial modeling.

(2)Conduct feasibility studies, traffic analysis, and competitive benchmarking.

Lease Negotiation

(1)Cooperate with superiors,negotiations with landlords, brokers, and legal teams to secure favorable lease terms.

(2)Manage LOIs (Letters of Intent).

Project Management

(1)Oversee store openings from concept to launch, coordinating with construction, design, and operations teams.

(2)Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and brand standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration

(1)Partner with Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Operations to align store development with business goals.

(2)Present site recommendations to senior leadership.

Portfolio Strategy

(1)Develop market expansion plans aligned with company growth targets.

(2)Track performance of new locations and recommend optimizations.

What were looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a store development or project management role, preferably within the retail or construction industry

  2. Expertise in lease negotiation and real estate law.

  3. Proficiency in GIS tools (e.g., ESRI), demographic software, and financial modeling.

  4. Good communication and active in English speaking

  5. Preferable from retail industry such as MINISO, OH!SOME, MR. DIY, etc.

  6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions

  7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams

  8. Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards

  9. Willing to join immediately
