Superintendent - Reliability, Plant Improvement

The Plant Improvement Project Superintendent is responsible for identifying, planning, executing, and monitoring plant improvement initiatives focused on enhancing equipment performance, process efficiency, energy optimization, safety, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves cross-functional coordination, project management, and hands-on technical involvement to ensure timely completion of improvement projects aligned with business objectives. Data analysis of equipment Reliability with a focus to ensure equipment health.

Requirement

• Graduate Engineer in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or higher in a relevant equivalent field, along with relevant certifications or specialized training

• 5-10 years of experience in, project execution and construction, reliability improvement, plant operations roles.

• Prior experience in heavy industries such as mining, metals, chemicals, or cement is desirable.

• 5-10 Year experience in application of Condition Monitoring Technics Possessing a strong understanding of CBM technologies, equipment, and maintenance practices.

• Understanding of process / hot metal plant maintenance and reliability

• Equipment and system expertise

• Experience leading maintenance shutdown activities.

• Familiarity with root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigation techniques.

• Training in maintenance best practices such as RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance) or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).

• Ability to mentor and train junior maintenance staff.
