SUPERVISOR WASTE CONTROL

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize work to accomplish the organizations goals efficiently and effectively, drawing on the strengths and ideas of team members.

• Coaches and guides employees towards desired outcomes.
• Encourages group problem solving through collaborative decision-making.
• Supervise waste & rubbish disposal and ensure that domestic waste (waste from messes, housing, camps and offices, and public facilities) is disposed of responsibly.
• Coordinate with Waste Recycling Supervisor to ensure that waste type is properly separated
• Liase with Waste Recycling Supervisor to ensure that all waste be able to be well-recycled 
• Coordinate waste collection schedule to optimize service and efficiency.
• Supervise and Monitor rubbish-pick up equipment & teams under his/her control

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in biological, biochemical sciences, waste management, engineering or environmental, or a related field preferred.
• Have minimum 4 years experiences in similar role as Supervisor Waste Control.
• Hold an operational inspector certificate or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.
• Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good organizational, Leadership and management qualities skills.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
