Technical Support/product Training Specialist

Business Unit: Water Treatment Solutions (POE Ultrafiltration, WWTP, STP, WTP - MBR Technology)Location: SerpongReporting to: Technical & Product Manager

Main Responsibilities

A. Technical Support

  1. Provide technical support to the sales team, distributors, and customers regarding:

    • POE Ultrafiltration (Point of Entry Water Filtration Systems)

    • WWTP/STP/WTP with Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) Technology

  2. Diagnose and resolve technical issues (troubleshooting) on-site, for both new installations and existing operational units.

  3. Prepare technical recommendations for system design, capacity, specifications, and product configurations according to project needs.

  4. Conduct site visits for commissioning, testing, and quality control.

  5. Collaborate with the R&D team or principals to improve products based on field feedback.

  6. Create technical documentation such as maintenance SOPs, user manuals, and technical reports.

B. Product Training

  1. Develop and deliver training materials (online & offline) for internal teams, distributors, contractors, and end clients.

  2. Explain product advantages, applied technologies (UF, PVDF, MBR), and installation, operation, and maintenance procedures.

  3. Conduct Train-the-Trainer sessions to ensure technical knowledge is sustainably transferred to relevant parties.

  4. Produce video tutorials, training modules, and easy-to-understand technical guides.

  5. Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials in line with product and technology developments.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Minimum D3/Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering (water treatment), or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3-5 years in water treatment or water filtration.

  • Experience handling Point of Entry Ultrafiltration systems and MBR for WWTP/STP/WTP.

  • Involved in commissioning & maintenance of water treatment systems from household to industrial scale.

  • Skilled in developing training modules & technical presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Familiar with water quality standards, environmental regulations, and wastewater treatment regulations.

Desired Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of membrane technology (UF, PVDF, MBR).

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in the field.

  • Excellent presentation & communication skills.

  • Proficient in technical software (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, or WTP/WWTP design software).

  • Active English proficiency (spoken & written).
