• Lead and mentor a team of testers while actively participating in hands-on testing tasks.
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to design, implement, and test instrument control software, service software, Local Run Manager, and its modules for DNA sequencing and genotyping devices.
• Define test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of software functionalities.
• Oversee and perform various testing types, including Functional, Integration, Regression, Compatibility, Security, UI, and Exploratory testing.
• Establish and drive test automation strategies, including designing, coding, and maintaining automated test scripts.
• Implement and manage continuous testing by integrating test scripts into the CI/CD pipeline and monitoring test results.
• Ensure timely identification, documentation, tracking, and resolution of defects and quality issues.
• Plan and set up test environments with relevant and useful data for testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects efficiently.
• Collect and analyze test data, including observations, logs, and detailed troubleshooting steps.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Define and enforce best practices for testing, quality assurance, and software delivery.
• Drive process improvements to enhance software quality and testing efficiency.

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or any IT related field.
• Minimum 5 years of leading and hands-on manual and automation testing experience.
• Experience in testing for Windows-based and/or Linux-based GUI systems
• Able to write codes in at least 1 modern scripting language Python, JavaScript, Ruby, etc.
• Knowledge of multiple test methods: exploratory, unit, acceptance, functional, systems, integration, etc.
• Testing for healthcare web system experience would be an added advantage
• Experience in network protocol and proxy server is a plus
• Experience in developing instrument software / hardware integration is a plus
• Good and proactive communication skill
• Flexible, fast-paced, and proactive work ways and time
