Warehouse Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant Manager to join our client in Electronics industry. As a Warehouse Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient and effective storage, distribution, and inventory management. This is a full-time position within our dynamic Warehousing, Storage & Distribution team.

What youll be doing

1. Assisting the Warehouse Manager in all aspects of warehouse operations, including planning, organising, and supervising warehouse activities

2. Overseeing the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery

3. Monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, implementing effective stock control systems

4. Coordinating the work of warehouse personnel, including supervisors, forklift operators, and other warehouse staff

5. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency

6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

7. Providing regular reports and updates to the Warehouse Manager and other stakeholders

What were looking for

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role

2. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage methods, and distribution processes

3. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

4. Proficient in using warehouse management software and other relevant technologies

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members

6. Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the warehousing industry

7. A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement
