About the role

KJA Optima Solution is seeking an Accounting and Tax Associate to join our team in Surabaya, East Java. This full-time role will be responsible for providing high-quality accounting and tax services to our diverse client base.

What youll be doing

  • Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other accounting documents for clients

  • Conducting tax planning and compliance activities to ensure clients meet all tax obligations

  • Collaborating with clients to understand their unique financial and tax needs

  • Providing recommendations and strategies to optimize clients financial and tax positions

  • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting and tax regulations and best practices

  • Supporting the Accounting and Tax team with ad-hoc projects and requests

What were looking for

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounting and/or tax roles, preferably in a professional services environment

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and compliance requirements

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in using accounting software and tax preparation tools

  • Strong communication and client service skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
