About The Role

Were looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Receivable Accountant with main responsibilities to oversee the customer billing process, monitor outstanding payments, and ensure timely collections. This is a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow and strong customer relationships.

The position has normal working days of Monday-Friday; includes a probation period of up to 6 months, during which performance, adaptability, and team fit will be assessed.

Key Responsibilities

• Issue invoices and billing statements based on job costing and shipping documentation

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue balances

• Reconcile customer accounts and ensure proper allocation of incoming payments

• Coordinate with Customer Service and Sales to resolve billing discrepancies

• Generate AR reports and aging summaries for management

• Assist with monthly closing and internal financial reporting

• Maintain filing of payment records, receipts, and invoice backups

• Support administrative tasks related to billing, receivables, customer documentation, and others

• Assist the team with ad hoc tasks as needed

• Improve and implement internal accounting policies and SOPs

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in accounting or related field

• Min. 1 year experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles/practice and Indonesian tax regulations

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheet, and accounting softwares

• Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)

• Brevet A & B certification (preferred)

• Familiar with billing flow in freight forwarding/logistics industry (preferred)

• Max. 30 years old (preferred)
