Accounting Staff
Key Skills and Requirements:
• Diploma in Accounting / Finance an advantage.
• Proven experience of at least two years in this or a similar position in luxury hotels resorts, restaurants or clubs is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Fluent in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ideally in Xero Accounting software.
• Knowledge of Restaurant Point of Sales (POS) and Hospitality specific accounting software application and experience of Touch Bistro would be desirable.
• Proficient in Indonesian and International Accounting Standard, and Taxation
• Good knowledge of all section in Accounting and Finance (Accounts Payable, General Cashier, Income, Tax, Payroll, Banking, and General Accounting).
• Possess skills of leadership, developing, strategic thinking, problem solver
• Results and service oriented with an eye for details
Tasks/Responsibilities
• To provide finance & administrative support to the Finance Manager.
• Responsible to assist in the creation & amendments of financial policies relating to the financial administration. The Company has divisions for Restaurant, Farm and Rice.
• Prepare and submit on a timely basis accurate monthly Financial Management Reports, annual budgets, quarterly profit forecasts, cash flow projections and detailed financial analysis of the financial performance of the Company.
• Monitoring the actual performance against budgets of the Company by establishing financial benchmarks, ratios and relevant key performance indicators.
• Work in conjunction with the Finance Manager to ensure the internal control function is comprehensive and is regular monitored.
• Responsible for the supervision of the Administration Officer who reports direct to you. This involved their training and development in their roles.
• Responsible for the co-ordination of submission of tax returns of the company and to respond to any of the authorities tax queries.
• Establishing liaison with accounting, payroll and tax agents, bankers, solicitors, insurance, tax consultants, corporate secretariat and all governmental bodies on matters pertaining to the finance, accounts, and taxation aspects of the company. The intention is to reduce the reliance on use of Third-Party Consultants.
• Work together with the other employees of BHC in ensuring that the policies and procedures are in line with those of the Company.
• Any other ad hoc assignments or tasks, which may be assigned from time to time.

• Communicate regularly with related companies.
• Communicate and ask for assistance when faced with difficult problems or situations that you have not experienced before - please consult with the Owners Representative
• Always promote open communication - advise / coach others that do not promote this through their actions and behaviours.
• Be open to receiving feedback from others and be able to provide constructive feedback to others focusing on facts and not opinion.
• Ensure confidentiality of all Finance related issues - only speak to the appropriate people about the appropriate subject.
• At all times behave and conduct yourself as BHC ambassador.

• Adheres to establish standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
• Maintains good relations with colleagues and other departments.
• Shares knowledge and skills with other colleagues where appropriate and applicable.
• To follow the K3 (occupational health and safety) legislation, policies, and procedures.
• To familiarize with property safety, first aid, fire, bomb threat and emergency procedures and shares with co-workers.
