Design Engineer

Job Description:

• Supervise drafters to design per project requirements

• Work with production, operations, quality assurance, sales throughout the project

• Review autocad drawings and BOM

• Prepare Design calculations

• Support sales team in completing any assigned project

• Provide engineering documents per project requirements and review clients comments independently

• Coordinate the projects requirements with other departments

Requirements:

• Mechanical degree or equivalent.

• Knowledgeable in pressure vessel and piping design code such as ASME B31.3, ASME Sect. VIII Div.1, etc.

• Familiar with piping standard code (ASME B16.5, ASME B16.9, ASME B16.34, ASME B31.3, etc)

• Minimum 3 years as design engineer / work in engineering department.

• Able to read the clients specification and requirement.

• Prior working experience in engineering Industry will be preferred

• Able to work in a fast pace environment, multi-task and strong team player

• Passion of working in value-based company

• Fluent Communication Skills in English (Spoken and written)

• Able to operate Codeware Compress Pressure Vessel or PV Elite software will be an advantage

• Experience in engineering management systems and quality system audits.

• Preferably for those who are domiciled in Batam.
