EHS Officer

About the role

Join PT.Jiale Indonesia Textile as an EHS Officer based in Jepara Regency, Central Java. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing the companys health, safety and environmental compliance and initiatives, playing a vital role in protecting the wellbeing of our employees and the local community.

What youll be doing

1. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations (WWTP, waste, emissions).2. Maintain environmental reports and permits (UKL-UPL, SIMPEL, etc.).3. Manage chemical safety (SDS, labeling, storage, disposal).4. Conduct HIRADC, especially in production and chemical areas.5. Implement EHS programs and regular training.6. Monitor PPE use, safety signs, and emergency tools.7. Investigate incidents and follow up on corrective actions.8. Support audits and sustainability standards (GRS, RCS, ZDHC, etc.).

What were looking for

1. Bachelors degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering.2. Familiar with EHS legal requirements and chemical regulations.3. Min. 1 year of EHS experience in manufacturing.4. Proficient in SIMPEL and UKL-UPL processes.5. Strong analytical and coordination skills.

6. Experience in production safety and chemical risk management.7. Preferably certified in K3, waste handling, or ISO audit.8. Comfortable conducting site inspections and engaging workers.9. Strategic mindset with problem-solving ability.10. Skilled in reporting, documentation, and EHS systems.
