Engineering Staff

Job Descriptions :

• Maintenance and Repairs:
• Perform daily maintenance tasks on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of hotel systems, including HVAC, electrical circuits, lighting, and water supply.
• Handle repairs in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and other hotel facilities.
• Preventative Maintenance:
• Follow the preventative maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment operates efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of all work completed and inspections performed.
• Troubleshooting:
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency repair requests and minimize downtime for equipment or systems.
• Guest Rooms and Public Areas:
• Ensure that guest rooms and public areas are well-maintained, safe, and in excellent working condition.
• Address guest complaints regarding room conditions, including air conditioning, lighting, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Adhere to hotel safety standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Use tools and equipment in a safe manner, following health and safety guidelines.
• Teamwork and Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments (housekeeping, front desk, food & beverage) to ensure all facilities are functioning properly.
• Assist other technicians and engineering staff as needed to complete tasks and projects.

Requirments :

• Diploma in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing engineering (or a related field).
• At least 2-3 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, basic carpentry, painting, and HVAC systems.
• High attention to detail to ensure quality maintenance.
• Capable of working in various conditions, including standing, climbing ladders, and lifting equipment.
