Finance & Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:

The Chief Accountant is responsible for overseeing the overall accounting operations of the company. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations, preparing financial reports, and supervising the accounting team to support the companys financial health and decision-making.

  1. Financial Management:

    • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.

    • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  2. Compliance & Auditing:

    • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

    • Liaise with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation.

  3. Reporting:

    • Prepare timely financial reports and present findings to management.

    • Support decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations.

  4. Budgeting & Forecasting:

    • Assist in preparing company budgets and forecasts.

    • Monitor budget variances and provide analysis on deviations.

  5. Cash Flow Management:

    • Oversee cash flow planning and ensure sufficient funds availability for operations.

    • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.

  6. Team Supervision:

    • Lead and guide the accounting team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to deadlines.

    • Conduct training and performance reviews for accounting staff.

  7. Process Improvement:

    • Review and improve accounting systems and processes for greater accuracy and efficiency.

    • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.

  8. Overseeing the payment of VAT, Income Tax Article 21, Income Tax Article 23, Income Tax Article 25, Income Tax Article 4(2), etc.

  9. Overseeing the reporting of e-Invoices, e-SPT, e-Billing, e-Filling, e-Forms, and e-Bupot taxes in Coretax.

  10. Preparing strategies for Tax Compliance, Tax Planning, and Tax Audits

Qualifications :
  1. Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  2. CPA or CFA certification is highly desirable.

  3. At least 10 years in senior managerial positions.

  4. Experience in Auditing

  5. Experience in strategic planning and risk management.

  6. Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  7. Outstanding in communication and leadership management skills to lead a large finance & accounting team.

  8. Experience working in the manufacturing industry

  9. Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations.

  10. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.

  11. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with stakeholders.
