Finance, Accounting & Tax Manager
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day-to-Day Operation
Manage the day-to-day finance operations and take leadership around the financial activities.
Manage the process of accounting, finance, cash flow, credit control and taxation.
Ensure controls are in place at operations and in accordance with company policy and corporate governance.
Managing all finance and accounting operations.
Financial Planning and Analysis
Budgeting: Developing, managing, and monitoring the organizations annual budgets, ensuring that financial resources are allocated effectively.
Forecasting: Projecting future financial performance based on historical data, market trends, and business strategies.
Financial Modeling: Creating models to evaluate business decisions, investment opportunities, pricing structure and strategic initiatives.
Variance Analysis: Analyzing discrepancies between actual and budgeted financial performance and providing insights into the reasons for those variances.
Financial Reporting Preparation and Presentation
Preparation of Financial Statements: Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of key financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Presentation of the Financial results with insightful information and able to explain the key variance vs. Budget and Last Year.
Compliance: Ensuring that all financial reports comply with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Internal and External Reporting: Presenting financial performance to senior management and external stakeholders (e.g., investors, auditors, tax authorities).
Tax Management
Tax Planning and Compliance: Overseeing tax strategy, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and minimizing tax liabilities.
Tax Reporting: Ensuring that the companys tax returns are accurately prepared and filed in a timely manner.
Audit and Governance
Internal and External Audits: Coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure transparency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Governance: Establishing strong financial governance frameworks to ensure proper financial management and accountability.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Bachelors degree in Accounting or Taxation from a reputable university.
Hold Brevet A and B
Minimum of 13 years of experience in accounting, with at least 8 years in a Managerial role and in the pharmaceutical industry.
Strong knowledge of tax laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (SAP and Accurate) and MS Office, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Having basic knowledge of Export/Import.
Having experience in Manufacturing cost & budget.
Having experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a must.
