- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow and provide reports to management.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control analysis.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and handle tax filings.
- Reconcile vendor statements and oversee inventory accounting.
- Prepare financial models for new restaurant openings, menu changes, or marketing campaigns.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as food cost, labor cost, and sales performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- minimum 2-5 years of accounting experience (preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry).
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
