Finance & Tax Officer

About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Financial & Tax Officer to join the team at PT Realma Vestama Nusantara. This is a contract role based in South Jakarta, responsible for providing support to the companys financial accounting and reporting functions.

What youll be doing

• Oversee payment requirements for daily operations, covering finance, accounting, and tax.

• Support accountants with tax-related bookkeeping in the accounting system.

• Prepare and maintain annual Withholding Tax filings for all entities, including fiscal corrections and nominative lists for entertainment and promotional expenses.

• Submit all company tax documentation and requirements to the tax office on time.

• Coordinate with the AR Tax Office and respond to any official correspondence.

• Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required.

• Prepare and record accurate journal entries for daily transactions

• Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting activities

• Assist in processing payments to vendors, employees, and other third parties in compliance with internal controls

• Use SAP to support tax and treasury operations such as retrieving reports, processing transactions, and reconciliation tasks

• Support monthly tax compliance processes, including preparation of VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax filings

• Maintain proper filing and documentation for all treasury and tax-related transactions

• Validate supporting documents for payments and ensure appropriate approvals are obtained

• Ensure documentation is audit-ready and compliant with internal and external policies

• Maintain proper documentation of all financial records

• Support audit processes by providing required data and documents

• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

• Collaborate with other departments for financial data accuracy

What were looking for

• Bachelors Degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or a related field from reputable university.

• Understanding of tax regulations and documentation.

• Familiar with journal entries, financial reporting, and reconciliations.

• Solid understanding of accounting journal entries and financial reporting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Accurate, SAP, etc.)

• In-depth knowledge of tax regulations, compliance procedures, and tax reporting.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and independent with strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
