Graduate Publication Officer - BINUS Business School

Publications Activities:

• Ensure the language of doctoral and master student journal article adhere for Scopus indexed journal and national accredited journal guideline

• Ensure the correct phrase usage, consistency and precision to enhance the articles acceptance and readable

• Check and revise the spelling, punctuation, grammar and syntax of related written material

• Search and evaluate the targeted journal style

• Revised or standardized the mechanical style, format and language of written material for publication

• Examine and ensure concise material of related article (i.e., title, table title, figure title, abstracts)

• Confirm and check the technical soundness and technical quality of the content

• Ensure publication material final approval process

Operations Activities:

• Conduct and report all activities related to BBS Graduate Publication process

• Ensure article editing accomplished according to agreed timeline

• Update the Scopus Indexed Journal Database

• Create a document for recording the operation activities

• Assisting the preparation of publication agreement between the authors and publisher

• Organize the research and publication seminar or workshop

Management Support Activities:

• Provide Report to Direct Supervisor

• Suggest improvement process related to activities in area of responsibilities (especially related to time concern, effort and cost)

• Perform activities related to Quality Management System

• Perform additional tasks related to key responsibilities as required by Direct Supervisor

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience

• Experience as a committee member in a Scopus-indexed conference or as a language editor in a nationally accredited journal

• Minimum TOEFL score of 500

• Knowledge of using reference management software (Mendeley, Zotero, etc.)
